Main Purpose of the Job

Transform our finance function from a traditional support role into a strategic, value-adding business partner. This role requires not only technical excellence but also strong business acumen and entrepreneurial leadership to drive organizational impact.

You will lead the department in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient operations, and regulatory compliance as we scale locally and internationally. Beyond operational excellence, you will actively shape business decisions through data-driven insights, challenge assumptions with analytical rigor, and champion initiatives that directly contribute to revenue growth, cost optimization, and competitive advantage.

You will play a key role in our Odoo ERP adoption, leading the finance function's transition to more automated, integrated, and analytically robust systems. As a true business leader, you will ensure that finance becomes a proactive force in driving business outcomes, not just recording them.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

• Lead all finance, accounting, and purchasing operations supporting local and global growth objectives
• Drive financial performance through disciplined focus on top-line growth, margin optimization, and profitability enhancement
• Champion Odoo ERP adoption and optimization within the finance function
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting insights, and data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making
• Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, productivity, scalability, and profitability
• Conduct regular margin analysis across product lines, customer segments, and revenue streams

Financial Management & Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the CEO and stakeholders across Filipino, Hong Kong, and US entities
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with emphasis on data accuracy and process efficiency
• Direct budget planning, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
• Manage cash flow planning and working capital optimization
• Coordinate audit processes and maintain relationships with external auditors

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and develop the finance, accounting, and purchasing team with emphasis on building data and process-driven capabilities
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, analytical thinking, and systematic problem-solving
• Collaborate with IT on ERP system implementations, integrations, and process automation
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Care, and Customer Success on revenue and billing matters
• Partner with leadership across departments to anticipate business uncertainties and develop proactive mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations, Hong Kong GAAP, US GAAP, and internal controls through embedded processes

Qualifications

Experience:

• 7+ years in financial management with 3+ years in supervisory roles
• We prioritize strong potential, business acumen, and leadership capability over extensive tenure - the right 7-10 years of impactful experience is more valuable than 30 years of routine work
• Proven experience as a business-driven finance leader, not just a technical accountant
• Track record or demonstrable mindset for transforming finance functions to become strategic business partners
• Experience in a growth-stage or scaling company environment
• Subscription business experience preferred
• Experience using and optimizing ERP systems, preferably Odoo (implementation experience is a plus)
• History of driving measurable business value through financial leadership

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and BIR regulations, Hong Kong GAAP, and US GAAP
• Strong understanding of subscription, outright, and rental billing models and revenue recognition principles

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php90, Php140,000.00 per month
