REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of work experience in financial management, including experience in budgeting, forecasting, and investment management.
  • Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team. Excellent mentoring and coaching abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To work with the Executive Vice President and President in planning, execution, and monitoring of the finance and accounting team's growth and output.

    To work with the circle of managers (marketing manager, technical sales manager, operations manager, human resources, and administration manager) to ensure company harmony.

    To represent the accounting and finance teams during board meetings and present progress and plans.

FINANCE MANAGEMENT
- Lead, Direct, and coordinate Line of Business financial planning and budget management functions.
- Think with a financial mindset, linking decisions to the financial performance of the company.
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
- Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
- Manage the preparation of all financial reports.
- Champion the approved budget of the sales, marketing and operations teams.
- Attract, develop, retain, and train talent in administration and finance.
- Provide accounting policy orientation for new staff.
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations, capital expenditure, short and long-term marketing projects and product development/investment decisions using tools such as Net Present Value, and Future Value.
- Acquire the perfect balance between liabilities and equity to avail of the optimal cash flow.
- Evaluate the impact of operational and financial decisions on the ultimate objective of maximizing stakeholders' wealth.
- Auditing and placing efficiency and effectiveness ratings by assigning values and metrics to each front and back-end personnel.
- Ensure functional tasks in cash flow management, credit analysis, collections, and accounting are being done efficiently.
- Improve current systems in place.
- As future venture, manage an asset and stock portfolio.

ACCOUNTING MANAGEMENT

  • Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
  • Ensure functional tasks in accounting are being done efficiently.

COLLECTIONS MANAGEMENT

  • Create and constantly improve collections policies that provide a balance between sales accounts management and collections efficiency.
  • Oversee the credit evaluation and extension of credit to customers.
