Job Summary:
The Community Engagement & Development Manager plays a critical role in advancing the mission, sustainability, and public presence of Healthway Foundation, Inc. The position supports the Foundation Director in executing strategic priorities, particularly in fundraising, marketing and communications, and community and donor engagement.
This role serves as the secondary lead for fundraising initiatives, oversees awareness-building and advocacy campaigns, and manages relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders, ensuring the successful activation and growth of HFI's programs across its four pillars: patient care, research, training, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Fundraising & Resource Development
- Support the Foundation Director in planning and implementing fundraising strategies aligned with HFI's mission and 2026 targets
- Act as secondary lead in donor acquisition, donor retention, and partnership development (corporate, institutional, and individual donors)
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, donor presentations, pitch decks, and fundraising materials
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns, events, and giving programs (B2B and B2C)
- Maintain and manage donor databases, ensuring proper documentation, acknowledgment, and reporting
B. Marketing, Communications & Advocacy
- Lead the development and execution of HFI's marketing and communications strategy to increase awareness of the Foundation and its advocacy
- Oversee content creation for digital platforms, social media, print materials, and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for branding, campaigns, and promotional initiatives
- Ensure consistent messaging aligned with Healthway Foundation's values, pillars, and impact stories
- Support public relations initiatives, including partnerships, media engagements, and advocacy campaigns
C. Community & Donor Relations
- Build and sustain strong relationships with community partners, beneficiaries, donors, and institutional stakeholders
- Oversee community engagement activities related to HFI's outreach programs
- Coordinate beneficiary engagement and feedback mechanisms to ensure program relevance and impact
- Represent HFI in meetings, forums, and community events, as assigned
- Ensure proper stewardship of donors through regular updates, impact reports, and engagement activities
D. Program Support & Coordination
- Support the activation and implementation of programs across HFI's four pillars:
- Patient Care (e.g., patient subsidy programs)
- Research
- Training
- Community Outreach
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to track program progress, documentation, and reporting
- Assist in monitoring program outcomes and impact metrics
E. Governance, Compliance & Administrative Support
- Assist the Director in meeting requirements related to accreditations and certifications (PCNC, DOH, BIR)
- Ensure proper documentation and coordination with Finance and Admin for compliance-related activities
- Support reporting requirements to partners, donors, and regulatory bodies
Skills & Competencies

- Familiarity with fundraising principles, donor stewardship, and nonprofit marketing
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Business, or related field
- Postgraduate degree or relevant certifications in development work, nonprofit management, or marketing is an advantage
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in community engagement, fundraising, marketing, nonprofit development, or stakeholder management
- Experience working with foundations, NGOs, CSR programs, or healthcare-related initiatives is highly preferred
- Proven experience in donor engagement, partnerships, or campaign management
