Job Title: Purchasing Specialist / Buyer / Procurement Officer

Location: Quezon City

Department: Procurement

Reports To: Purchasing Manager/Head

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services that meet the company's operational requirements. This includes managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining accurate records to support supply chain efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Issue purchase orders and track them through to delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory/warehouse teams to replenish stock as needed.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships and resolve any supply issues or discrepancies.
  • Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, production) to forecast demand and align purchasing activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • [1–5+] years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (depending on role level).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
