We are looking for goal-oriented individuals to fill in the Customer Service Associate.
Assists and answers queries of Value Care clients and or hospital personnel regarding their plan benefit, consultation, admission and utilization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible in handling client's inquiries and concerns pertaining to their healthcare coverage.
- Issues outpatient/inpatient approval codes to accredited hospitals, clinics and dentists;
- Coordinates with different departments to address clients needs.
- Manages utilization by thorough probing of medical history and status of members, redirecting them to cost-efficient providers as necessary, scrutinizing hospital billing statements, and properly advising them before issuing approval codes for the appropriate laboratory/diagnostics requests.
- Thoroughly attends to member's inquiries and concerns and extends professional and courteous custom service and assistance to all clients.

- Prepares and promptly submits regular and special reports required by the management.
- Coordinate with different departments all concerns of clients and providers.
- Performs other tasks in their catchment area as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any medical-related courses
- Anyone with relevant experience in medical field, preferably HMO setting.
- Fresh / Entry level applicants are welcome to apply.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask while working under minimal supervision.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office using MS Word and MS Excel.
