The Senior Content and Learning Design Officer (Elementary Math) is responsible for developing, quality-assuring, and managing instructional materials for STEM public school teachers through the GBF Class Builder platform. The role focuses on creating impactful educational resources that improve teachers' content mastery, pedagogy, and classroom engagement while aligning with the Philippine K-12 curriculum and GBF's mission. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in education, shaping resources that empower teachers and enhance student learning outcomes nationwide.

Responsibilities:

A.  Content Development and Quality Assurance

  • Lead the creation and quality assurance of Math instructional materials (lesson plans, teacher guides, slides, worksheets, supplementary materials).
  • Ensure alignment with DepEd policies, K-12 curriculum standards, and socio-cultural guidelines.
  • Document and refine content guidelines.
  • Collaborate with advisors and experts to validate content.
  • Ensure error-free and timely materials for teachers.

B.  People and Operations Management

  • Plan, hire, and onboard freelance writers and quality assurance experts.
  • Partner with HR for recruitment and payment processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for content teams.
  • Manage and mentor freelancers, ensuring quality and performance.
  • Keep trackers updated.

C.  Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align program goals.
  • Work closely with internal teams and supervisors for seamless coordination.

D.  Additional Responsibilities

  • Seek feedback from teachers through observations and focus group discussions.
  • Support other educator programs as needed.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the immediate superior to achieve program objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master's or Doctorate is an advantage).
  • Strong familiarity with the Philippine K-12 Math curriculum.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and editing K-12 Math educational content, with 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Math in a classroom or hybrid setting.
