We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Architectural Designer to join our team, specialising in the design and drafting of residential properties, including private houses and luxury villas. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing skills, a solid understanding of residential design principles, and the ability to translate client requirements into precise architectural plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for residential projects (houses, villas, extensions, renovations).
  • Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
  • Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet structural, building code, and zoning requirements.
  • Adapt designs based on client feedback and project specifications.
  • Produce presentation drawings and layouts to support client proposals.
  • Maintain organized CAD files and ensure version control throughout the design process.
  • Collaborate with interior designers, contractors, and project managers to support the full project lifecycle.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D a plus).
  • Previous experience in residential architecture (houses, villas, or similar).
  • Knowledge of building codes, planning regulations, and construction methods (UK or relevant market).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise technical drawings.
  • Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with 3D visualization software (SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max).
  • Understanding of sustainable/responsible residential design.
  • Strong communication skills for working with clients and contractors.
