Summary:
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the company's revenue growth strategy, managing the performance of the sales organization, and expanding market presence. You will develop scalable sales strategies, coach sales account managers, and ensure the team consistently achieves or exceeds targets across key markets and verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning
Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
Develop quarterly and annual sales forecasts, budgets, and territory planning.
Identify growth opportunities through new markets, channels, or verticals (B2B, B2C, or B2G).
Team Leadership & Management
Build, lead, and mentor the entire sales organization, including Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Inside Sales.
Set performance metrics, KPIs, and commission structures.
Foster a high-performance culture with clear accountability and growth pathways.
Key Account & Stakeholder Engagement
Support the closure of high-value strategic deals and enterprise accounts.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and executive stakeholders.
Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, or government engagements (in B2G environments).
Sales Operations & Enablement
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success to align GTM (Go-To-Market) plans.
Oversee the implementation and usage of CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Optimize sales processes, workflows, and reporting mechanisms.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer insights.
Adjust strategy based on changing market dynamics or client needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
8+ years in sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within SaaS, Cloud, or Tech companies.
Deep understanding of solution selling, subscription-based models, and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, or proprietary cloud).
Experience selling to enterprise and/or government clients.
Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams.
