About the role

Maagir Farm Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Manila City, Metro Manila. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant financial regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Analyze financial data and provide valuable insights to the management team to support decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial planning activities
  • Provide training and guidance to the accounting team, fostering their professional development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and enhance overall operational efficiency

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the accounting or finance function
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and best practices
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
