About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and resourceful HR Generalist to help us build the foundations of our people operations as we grow from one store to many. You will manage day-to-day HR functions, help us recruit the right people, and ensure our team culture is strong, professional, and consistent across branches.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Coordinate with store management to forecast hiring needs

Source candidates through Facebook groups, local networks, and manpower agencies

Schedule interviews, assist with screening, and manage hiring pipeline

Prepare job offers, contracts, and conduct onboarding/orientation
2. Employee Records & HR Admin

Maintain updated employee files (digital and hard copies)

Ensure compliance with labor standards (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE notices)

Track attendance reports and submit to payroll
3. Performance & Discipline

Monitor employee performance and flag issues early

Draft warning memos or documentation when needed

Coach store supervisors on handling minor HR issues
4. Culture & Engagement

Help build a positive and respectful work culture

Organize monthly crew check-ins or mini team-building sessions

Assist in crew recognition programs
5. HR Systems & Policies

Help draft and update employee handbook

Recommend improvements to shift scheduling, policies, and workflows

Support documentation for future franchise HR manuals
Qualifications:
-
At least 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, F&B, or small business

Knowledge of basic labor laws and payroll coordination

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Hands-on, independent, and resourceful
-
Bonus: Experience with recruitment or franchise HR systems
