HR Generalist – Sago Loco Pearl Shakes

Location: South Triange, Quezon City
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We're looking for a proactive and resourceful HR Generalist to help us build the foundations of our people operations as we grow from one store to many. You will manage day-to-day HR functions, help us recruit the right people, and ensure our team culture is strong, professional, and consistent across branches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate with store management to forecast hiring needs

  • Source candidates through Facebook groups, local networks, and manpower agencies

  • Schedule interviews, assist with screening, and manage hiring pipeline

  • Prepare job offers, contracts, and conduct onboarding/orientation

2. Employee Records & HR Admin

  • Maintain updated employee files (digital and hard copies)

  • Ensure compliance with labor standards (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE notices)

  • Track attendance reports and submit to payroll

3. Performance & Discipline

  • Monitor employee performance and flag issues early

  • Draft warning memos or documentation when needed

  • Coach store supervisors on handling minor HR issues

4. Culture & Engagement

  • Help build a positive and respectful work culture

  • Organize monthly crew check-ins or mini team-building sessions

  • Assist in crew recognition programs

5. HR Systems & Policies

  • Help draft and update employee handbook

  • Recommend improvements to shift scheduling, policies, and workflows

  • Support documentation for future franchise HR manuals

Qualifications:

  • At least 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, F&B, or small business

  • Knowledge of basic labor laws and payroll coordination

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Hands-on, independent, and resourceful

  • Bonus: Experience with recruitment or franchise HR systems
