Job Description:

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Plan and prepare high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes.
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and consistency.
  • Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and timely service of all food orders.
  • Monitor food inventory, storage, and usage to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Coordinate with management and service staff regarding menu planning, specials, and kitchen needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and utensils.
  • Monitor and evaluate kitchen performance and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in scheduling, and performance evaluation of kitchen personnel.

Qualifications:

  • At least a College graduate; Culinary Arts or related course preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Head Cook or Senior Cook in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
  • Creativity and passion for food quality and presentation.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
