Job Description
As part of the Cross-Border Business Development team, the Operations Strategy Associate will focus on driving Local Fulfillment (LFF) adoption and operational excellence within Shopee's cross-border business. The role combines strategy and execution, requiring close coordination with regional and local teams to ensure that both daily operations and long-term fulfillment initiatives deliver strong business impact.

Performance Tracking & Insights

  • Monitor key fulfillment KPIs (capacity, utilization, inventory replenishment, same day ship-out rate, inbound/outbound lead times, buyer waiting time, etc.).
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare reports/decks for business reviews.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve fulfillment efficiency and adoption.

Operations Strategy & Project Execution

  • Drive execution of local fulfillment Ops and fast delivery expansion projects across PH locations.
  • Propose initiatives and projects to improve local fulfillment adoption and faster delivery
  • Coordinate with regional teams, Logistics, SPX, and internal stakeholders on performance, programs, and escalations.
  • Manage trackers, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and support continuous process improvements.

Daily Operations Management

  • Ensure smooth execution of fulfillment operations across PH (local fulfillment warehouses) and fast delivery projects (overseas fulfillment drop-offs).
  • Handle campaign-related operations (voucher/item rebate plotting, flash plotting, ops tasks).
  • Manage seller-facing ops (FBS seller registration, SKU nominations, inbound scheduling and inbound request approvals, etc.).
  • Oversee day-to-day cross-team coordination, and operational escalations.

Fulfillment Operations Management

  • Oversee inbound/outbound flows, inventory policies, and warehouse coordination (e.g., RTS clearance, stock classification, replenishment).
  • Work with RMs/KAMs and WH Ops teams to resolve operational issues and maintain fulfillment stability.
  • Support campaign-related fulfillment tasks to ensure smooth seller and customer experience.

Data, Systems & Process Management

  • Maintain trackers and coordinate with BI/Dev teams on data requests and systems features.
  • Support automation initiatives and contribute to SOP/process improvements.
  • Identify bottlenecks in daily workflows and propose enhancements to increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, logistics, fulfillment, or business roles (e.g., category management, sales, or supply chain) in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills; able to manage multiple stakeholders across regions.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with SQL, BI tools, or data analysis is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: able to handle escalations and propose structured solutions.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for cross-team and cross-country alignment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and figure things out in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Proactive in asking questions, seeking the right PIC, and coordinating across teams without needing close guidance.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and deliver results under tight deadlines.
