We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager with a strong background in the power or energy industry. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, manage contracts, and mitigate legal risks across projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including EPC contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), O&M agreements, and other project-related contracts.
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and business operations within the energy sector.
  • Identify and manage legal risks associated with projects, transactions, and company operations.
  • Liaise with regulators, government agencies, and external legal counsel as needed.
  • Support corporate matters including joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, and statutory compliance.
  • Oversee dispute resolution and manage litigation matters effectively.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Law degree (LLB/JD) and admission to the Bar.
  • 8–10 years of legal experience, preferably in power, energy, infrastructure, or construction industries.
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy regulations, licensing, and project agreements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
