Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead business development efforts in the Power Systems and Substation Automation sector.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in technical sales and client relationship management, particularly in solutions such as protection relays, substation automation systems, BESS, EMS, SCADA, and grid integration technologies.

A strong technical background is helpful, but not mandatory—candidates with solid domain knowledge and extensive sales experience in the industry are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic sales growth across targeted markets including utilities, EPCs, OEMs, and industrial customers.

• Lead and support the sales team in prospecting, client engagement, and closing deals.

• Develop and manage long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

• Identify new opportunities in the substation automation, power quality, energy storage, and renewable integration segments.

• Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to deliver optimal solutions tailored to customer needs.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.

• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analyses for senior management.

• Represent the company in client meetings, industry conferences, and vendor discussions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any field (Sales, Business, Commerce, or related disciplines preferred).

• At least 5–10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in power systems, automation, or energy solutions.

• Strong understanding of customer requirements and market dynamics in the power and utility sectors.

• Proven ability to build client trust and close complex, high-value deals.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage a sales pipeline, meet targets, and lead a sales team.

• Familiarity with CRM tools and standard sales reporting practices.

• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, events, or site visits.

• Substation Automation Systems

• Protection Relays (Line, Transformer, Busbar, Feeder, etc.)

• NDME (Network Disturbance Monitoring Equipment)

• SVG / StatCom (Static Var Generator)

• BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

• EMS (Energy Management Systems)

• Digital / Smart Substations

• PPC (Power Plant Controllers)

• PMS (Protection Management Systems)

• SIPS (System Integrity Protection Schemes)

• Plant SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
