Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Partner with local management to understand business objectives and develop aligned HR strategies, policies, and processes
  • Provide expert advice on organizational effectiveness, talent management, succession planning, and change management

End-to-End Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for the Philippines, from job description creation, sourcing, and screening to interviewing and job offer
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the local talent market and utilize effective recruitment channels (e.g., JobStreet, LinkedIn, local referrals)
  • Design and implement a seamless onboarding program to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture

Compensation & Benefits Management

  • Oversee the design, review, and optimization of the compensation structure to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Administer employee benefits programs (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO, 13th-month pay, etc.), ensuring 100% compliance with Philippine statutory requirements.
  • Conduct regular compensation and benefits benchmarking surveys

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and conflict resolution between staff and management
  • Ensure all HR practices are fully compliant with the Philippine Labor Code and other relevant legislation
  • Manage disciplinary procedures, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), and exit interviews

Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Drive the entire performance management cycle (goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end assessments).
  • Work with managers to identify high-potential employees and create development plans.
  • Identify training needs and organize or implement development programs to meet business requirements.

Team Leadership & Management (Core Requirement)

  • Directly lead, mentor, and develop the local HR team (e.g., HR Generalists, HR Assistants), providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the efficient operation of the HR function
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture

HRIS & Reporting

  • Maintain and optimize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and security
  • Generate regular HR metrics reports (e.g., attrition rate, time-to-fill, training participation) to support data-driven decision-making by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of solid, end-to-end HR generalist experience in the Philippines, covering all areas mentioned above
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of direct experience in leading an HR team
  • In-depth knowledge and practical application of Philippine Labor Law, tax, and mandatory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation & benefits
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex HR issues independently
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications
  • Full professional fluency in English. Chinese communication skills are preferred
