ROLE OVERVIEW:

UpraisIT is looking for a Loan and Mortgage Support Specialist to support our Australian real estate client. The role involves assisting clients with their loan and mortgage application processes, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience from inquiry to settlement.

The ideal candidate will have relevant customer service experience handling Australian accounts, paired with a strong background in loan or mortgage processing. You'll play a key role in ensuring clients receive accurate information, timely updates, and professional service aligned with Australian lending standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide end-to-end support for loan and mortgage applications — from inquiry, documentation, and processing to settlement.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to Australian clients, assisting with loan-related queries, application tracking, and product information.
  • Review and verify all loan documentation for accuracy and compliance with Australian lending policies.
  • Liaise with Australian lenders, mortgage brokers, and financial institutions to ensure smooth and accurate processing.
  • Support clients with pre-approval, refinancing, and post-settlement inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups and prepare reports to monitor loan progress and client satisfaction.
  • Handle inquiries related to interest rates, repayments, and mortgage features.
  • Stay up to date with Australian mortgage market trends and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to streamline workflows and enhance the client experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in loan processing, mortgage support, credit analysis, or financial services, preferably within the Australian market.
  • Preferably relevant customer service experience handling Australian accounts (banking, lending, or insurance background preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a professional and confident tone suitable for Australian clients.
  • Solid understanding of Australian lending procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with loan origination systems (e.g., ApplyOnline, Mercury, Flex, NextGen, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proactive, service-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience supporting Australian real estate, lending, or mortgage brokerage firms.
  • Knowledge of residential, investment, or commercial loan products.
