Finance Supervisor – Construction

Location: Pasay City

Work Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Open for overtime as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

  • ₱35,000 – ₱40,000 monthly salary (depending on qualifications)
  • Food allowance
  • Accommodation allowance

We Are Looking For

A highly skilled and proactive Finance Supervisor to lead our construction company's finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong leadership abilities, solid analytical skills, and proven experience in managing complex financial processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to policies.
  • Monitor and track financial performance to meet company objectives and budgetary targets.
  • Identify and resolve cash flow concerns, payroll issues, and any financial discrepancies.
  • Coordinate closely with department heads to ensure each unit stays within its allocated budget.
  • Prepare accurate and timely management reports, forecasts, and annual financial statements.
  • Lead coordination with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
  • Manage BIR tax filings, returns, and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Review and approve disbursements, bank reconciliations, and all significant financial transactions.
  • Analyze and review assets, liabilities, and capital accounts, compiling and interpreting complex data.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems, policies, and internal controls.
  • Safeguard sensitive financial data and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Report financial status and insights directly to the Vice President and top management.
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, taxation, and construction industry practices is a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with accounting or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with a collaborative leadership style.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
