Task, Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary


• Focal contact on bank related matters such as fund transfers, bank certificates, opening

of accounts, bank guarantees, short-term investments, KYC and others


• Assisting the Accounting Manager in the preparation of Monthly Reports


• Supervision of Cash Disbursement Team


• PCF custodian


• Preparation of weekly cash position reports (CPR) and cash plan


• Posting of Sage entries – A/R, A/P, GL modules (GA related)


• Preparing accruals & adjusting entries as needed


• Handling Lapsing Schedules & Prepayments amortization


• Maintaining Schedules of A/P Others, Advances, Accruals, Office & Other Payables


• Checking of monthly bank reconciliation statements


• Schedule of Short-term Investments


• CPR Summary and Recap


• Month-end Bank Balances Summary


• Checking of other GL entries


• Checking of Group Cross Charges


• Month-end bank balances and CPR summary


• Handling monthly report


• Other tasks that may be assigned by immediate supervisor or department head

Secondary


• Filing of documents


• Monitor and verify MAS/IL/OSH credit of collections in BDO


• Monitor bank balances and endorse necessary fund transfers


• Back up for MAS/IL/OSH (CTM) Dollar withdrawal


• Verify previous month payment

QUALIFICATIONS:


• Certified Public Accountant with relevant experience


• Experience in the shipping industry is an advantage


• Willingness to work onsite 100%
