JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Handle banking documentation, including the opening of new bank accounts and maintaining accurate records for all banking activities
  • Assist in the preparation, coordination and submission of documents related to Letters of Credit (LC's) and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC's)
  • Prepare and process documents for Open Account (OA) registration with banks or trade partners.
  • Coordinate the settlement of trade and non-trade transactions, including documentation, approvals and communication with stakeholders
  • Support the finance team during month-end closing, audits and financial reporting by providing necessary documentation
  • Maintain proper filling and scanning of importation documents and all banking-related documentation in compliance with internal policies and audit requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial documents and transactions
  • Coordinate with internal departments, banks and external partners as needed to ensure smooth financial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or related field
  • Working knowledge of Accounting and banking principles
  • Proficient in MS Excel, and other MS Office tools.
  • Experience with accounting, or ERP system is a plus (e.g. Oracle)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • At least 1-3 years work experience in Accounting , Finance, Banking or Trade Documentation
  • Familiarity with bank processes, LC's, SBLC's or import/export documentation is highly preferred.
