The Accounting/Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices. The role requires strong expertise in real estate accounting, financial planning, BOI registrations/compliance, and handling of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) matters, particularly Letters of Authority (LOA). The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, safeguard company assets, and support management in decision-making through accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash management.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Develop internal controls and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
  • Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize company liquidity.
Regulatory Compliance & Taxation
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory requirements (BIR, SEC, BOI, and LGUs).
  • Handle BOI registrations, incentives, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and address BIR audits, including responding to Letters of Authority (LOA).
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
Real Estate Accounting
  • Oversee project costing, revenue recognition, and compliance with PFRS specific to real estate transactions.
  • Manage financing arrangements, loan covenants, and fund utilization for property development projects.
  • Ensure accurate monitoring of sales, collections, and inventory (lots, units, and developments).
Leadership & Strategic Support
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with top management in planning, feasibility studies, and investment analysis for real estate projects.
  • Develop strategies for cost control, profitability improvement, and risk management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA license required).
  • Minimum of 8–10 years solid accounting/finance experience, at least 5 years in a managerial capacity within the real estate industry.
  • Strong knowledge of BOI processes, tax incentives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience handling BIR Letters of Authority (LOA) and audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of PFRS, taxation, and real estate accounting standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and MS Office applications.
