Job Description:

Supply and Logistics:

  • Analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success
  • Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service;
  • Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies;
  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance;
  • Implement new or improved supply chain processes.

Stock Control:

  • To manage scheduling/ordering with principals to ensure that stock levels match customer requirements within the constraints of working capital affordability and cash budgets;
  • Manage volume-based supply agreements to ensure we exploit financial incentives to deliver pre-defined volume targets.

Purchasing

  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and vendors;
  • Negotiation of prices, contracts and SLA's on sourcing of raw materials and services.
  • Negotiation of prices for supply chain services (freight forwarders).

Organizational Commitment

  • Maintain a cohesive working relationship with all departments' heads and personnel successfully to accomplish business unit's goal and objectives.

Job Specifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Economics, Engineering (Industrial), Business Management or equivalent;
  • At least three (5) years of work experience in the same capacity in a consumer (FMCG) company is highly preferred.
