Hours: 5 hours per day

Pay: $7.60 AUD per hour

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE AUSTRALIAN REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY.

Role Overview

As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards. You'll be a key part of the finance operations, supporting the team with precision, efficiency, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and trust accounts in accordance with real estate compliance standards.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
  • Communicate clearly with property managers, agents, and external accountants as required.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience within the Australian Real Estate industry (mandatory).
  • Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, or other accounting platforms used in real estate.
  • Strong understanding of trust accounting and industry compliance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
