Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Remote

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Possible overtime or variance in shift during monthly close process)

Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for accurately maintaining accounts to ensure financial records and procedures are up to date. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, advanced Excel skills, and significant experience with fixed assets. You will manage high-volume workloads and support the monthly close process with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline and maintain both normal and complex accounts.
  • Manage fixed assets, including monitoring CADRs, capitalizing, retiring, and transferring assets as needed.
  • Handle AP invoice coding and prepare miscellaneous journal entries.
  • Perform period-end general ledger account reconciliations, researching and correcting discrepancies.
  • Import and post journal entries into the general ledger.
  • Deliver monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze and monitor transactions; prepare financial reports to support the annual budget.
  • Support the monthly close process, including high-volume accounting tasks.
  • Manage ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Audit and review large data sets using advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reporting, data analysis).
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Promptly and effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Strong experience with fixed assets.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, reporting).
  • U.S. accounting experience a plus.
  • Oracle experience preferred; SAP experience acceptable.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based tools.
  • Strong ability to prepare and enter accurate financial information.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality with financial data.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach to addressing complex issues.
  • Track record of producing high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php55,000.00 per month
