Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role involves managing a team of accountants, preparing financial statements, overseeing month-end close processes, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting

  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and variance analysis.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, and external audits.
  • Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to achieve departmental goals.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and monitor performance to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Oversee and maintain the integrity of accounting systems (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments on system upgrades and integration projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php37, Php40,000.00 per month
