Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to take ownership of the end-to-end Australian payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient payroll operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a company that values excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process weekly payroll in full compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain and update accurate payroll data using HR3, generate reports, and handle salary adjustments, leave, and terminations.
  • Oversee job costing allocations, superannuation, Payroll Tax, and Construction LSL.
  • Reconcile PAYG Payment Summaries and ensure timely submission to the ATO.
  • Provide expert advice on payroll procedures, compliance, and process improvements.
  • Resolve payroll queries and build strong relationships with management, employees, and the HR/Finance teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably within mining, construction, or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of awards and enterprise agreement interpretation.
  • In-depth understanding of payroll systems, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Experience with payroll software (HR3 preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of superannuation and workers' compensation legislation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday-Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM)
