Summary of the Role
Commercial Director to lead and grow our business operations in TMPI. This role carries full P&L responsibility, overseeing all commercial functions including sales, marketing, business development, and customer success. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a deep understanding of the local market and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share.
Key Functions / Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the country's commercial strategy aligned with regional and global objectives.
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes and strategic planning
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive top-line revenue and OP growth through direct and channel sales strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Identify channels and products that will drive future growth
Marketing & Brand Management:
- Oversee local marketing initiatives to strengthen brand presence and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with regional marketing teams to localize campaigns and messaging.
- Lead development and execution of stand-alone local plans to deliver Sales and OP targets
Customer & Partner Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- In charge of overall portfolio management, including but not limited to execution of on time product launch strategies, pricing, product life-cycle etc
- Set marketing and sales KPIs, rewards and incentive programs as well as identify training needs
- Ensure compliance with local laws and corporate policies.
- Set and monitor distributor KPIs and ensure alignment of commercial strategies
Functional / Technical Skills
- 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, ideally in healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of the Philippines market landscape.
- Proven track record in delivering revenue growth and managing P&L.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in [local language] and English.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
