Job Summary:
The Sales Officer of Electro Premier Venture Int'l Inc. is responsible for promoting and selling the company's range of electric metering solutions—including conventional meters, smart meters, AMI systems, and related products—to target customers. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets in line with the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell electric metering products, AMI solutions, and related services to utilities, contractors, distributors, and other target clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territories or market segments.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand customer needs and provide suitable product recommendations and solutions.
- Ensure post-sales satisfaction and coordinate with support teams for delivery, installation, and after-sales service.
Sales Administration
- Prepare quotations, contracts, and bidding documents in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Technical Support, Logistics) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Technical Coordination
- Liaise with marketing, engineering and product teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Provide input on product improvements based on customer feedback and market needs.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales leads, pipeline status, and client interactions using CRM tools.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management.
- Ensure timely submission of bids, proposals, and contracts in accordance with tender requirements.
Target Achievement
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Contribute to achieving the company's overall revenue and market share objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in the electrical, power, or utilities sector.
- Proven track record in selling metering products or similar solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of metering technologies (electromechanical, smart, AMI).
- Familiarity with tendering processes, government procurement, and utility standards.
- Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation tools.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capability.
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
- High integrity and professionalism.
