Work Assignment: Barangay Ingore Pa. Iloilo City

The Warehouseman is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of construction materials, tools, and equipment. This role ensures that all warehouse operations comply with safety and inventory control protocols to support smooth construction site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory using manual logs or warehouse management systems.
  • Issue materials and tools to site personnel based on requisition requests.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse for optimal safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and returned after use.
  • Follow and enforce safety regulations and procedures within the warehouse.
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks.

Job Qualifications (JQ):

Education & Experience:

  • College Level or College Graduate are welcome to apply.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not required. Experience in the construction industry is an advantage, though not mandatory.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of computer software, including Excel, is required.
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with SAP System and other inventory management systems is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
