Roles and Responsibilities
Accountable for Talent Management and Best Practices:
- Partners with Delivery Leaders to gain an understanding of business partner needs/strategies and develop the supporting resource plans
- Accounts for resource demand issues resolution by executing the defined conflict resolution process
- Accountable for forecasting current and future skill requirements.
- Accountable for staff assignments to projects and support teams
- Partners with Delivery Leaders to ensure appropriate succession planning is being executed to avoid/eliminate key person situations.
- Accountable for engagement and deployment of contractors
- Accountable for deployment of offshore resources when used for staff augmentation.
- Accountable for recruitment and selection process
- In partnership with Delivery Leaders and other Practice Leaders, develops strategy for meeting current and future business needs.
Best Practices
- Works with AQE and EQEP with implementing global metrics, process and best practices
- Ensures the application/implementation of AQE/EQEP processes and best practices by aligning with Market IT and Business.
- Stays current with internal IT processes and best practices
- Influences and supports the elimination of non-value-adding tasks; supports Brighter way
Manages and develops the assigned resource pool
- Participates in promotion reviews of all staff within Market Fixed Resources.
- Establishes activities to facilitate information sharing and skills development across the practice.
- Manages compensation processes for the resource pool, ensuring consistency and equity of compensation both within AQE and across the IT organization.
- Prepares, manages and controls resource pool budget for education, compensation, contractors, overtime, workstation hardware and software, telephone, rewards and recognition, etc.
- Produces the reports required to measure the success of AQE according to defined service levels
Individual career and professional development:
- Advises/coaches on both IT skills and SLF core competencies and/or identifies coaches/mentors.
- Supports development of individual development plans and career goals of direct reports.
- Provides a consistent tool and process to collect multi-source performance feedback.
- Accountable for performance management according to SLF policies, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Accountable for individual promotions, salary increases and bonuses.
- Manages performance issues and terminate individuals as required.
- Negotiates developmental assignments to support individual development needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any IT-related field
- 15+ years' relevant experience in Testing
- Must have people management experience, handling big teams with multiple capabilities
- Must have experience in Enterprise QE and Automation Frameworks and Lifecycle Testing
- Strong experience in coaching and mentoring team members
- Excellent communication skills, able to converse with people across different levels in the organization
- With strong grit, passion, patience, resilience, and determination
