About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Internal Broker / Broker Assistant to join a reputable insurance broking team.
You'll play a key role in processing new business, policy renewals, and endorsements — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth coordination between clients, brokers, and insurers.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in financial services or those looking to start a rewarding career in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new business, endorsements, and policy renewals
- Prepare and review policy documentation and invoices
- Coordinate with clients and insurers for policy updates and claims
- Ensure compliance with RG 146 and RG 271 requirements
- Maintain accurate records and support internal dispute resolution
- Provide general administrative and technical support to the broking team
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in financial services or a related role (preferred; training available)
- Good understanding of insurance products, claims processes, and regulatory obligations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and business systems
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization skills
