About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Internal Broker / Broker Assistant to join a reputable insurance broking team.

You'll play a key role in processing new business, policy renewals, and endorsements — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth coordination between clients, brokers, and insurers.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in financial services or those looking to start a rewarding career in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new business, endorsements, and policy renewals
  • Prepare and review policy documentation and invoices
  • Coordinate with clients and insurers for policy updates and claims
  • Ensure compliance with RG 146 and RG 271 requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and support internal dispute resolution
  • Provide general administrative and technical support to the broking team

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in financial services or a related role (preferred; training available)
  • Good understanding of insurance products, claims processes, and regulatory obligations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and business systems
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization skills
