Job Summary

The Plant Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment in the Dressing Plant Cold Section. This role ensures that all machines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime to support continuous plant operations. The position requires hands on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to mechanical concerns.


Requirements


• Graduate of Electro Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related technical course

• Experience in mechanical repair, plant maintenance, or equipment troubleshooting is an advantage

• Knowledge in mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and industrial machinery

• Skilled in preventive maintenance and basic mechanical diagnostics

• Willing to work in cold section operations

• Good communication and teamwork skills


Responsibilities


• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment in the cold section

• Monitor machine performance and address issues to prevent operational delays

• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records following company standards

• Assist in installation, adjustment, and improvement of production machinery

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure equipment readiness and safe operation
