Job Summary:

The Assistant Plant Manager oversees the overall operations of the production plant, ensuring that manufacturing activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing plant, manufacturing, or industrial operations
  • Strong background in production management, process optimization, and preventive maintenance
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing systems, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Proficient in data analysis, performance metrics, and production reporting
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Willing to work on-site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with production targets
  • Plan, organize, and control all production activities to achieve output and quality goals
  • Develop and implement strategies for process improvement and waste reduction
  • Supervise and provide direction to department heads including Technical, Maintenance, and Quality teams
  • Monitor plant performance and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations
