Business Development Officer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares a list of specifiers (architects and engineers), contractors and project owners of projects and assigns to the Sales Engineers for proper coverage. The list shall be monitored and updated regularly to determine the activeness of the accounts.
- Responsible for all projects designed, negotiated and bidded, and closed in sales areas and monitors proper and timely implementations of projects with the plant, customer support and installation.
- Gathers data on present market situation and competitor activities and recommends strategies to the Marketing and Sales Head.
- Monitors competitors' prices and recommends to the Sales Head the proposed selling prices and ensures that Sales personnel are equipped with skills to perform Customer Servicing.
- Monitors and recommends selling price and provides data to Marketing and Finance for them to develop pricing strategies.
- Provides regular feedback on the effectiveness of the promotional programs being implemented in his market.
- Formulates and develops short and long term sales plans and strategies covering his assigned sales market indicating targeted sales volumes, realistic assessment of economic conditions for his market and specific strategies and action plans based on actual data and market experience provided by each Sales Engineer
- Monitors customers' complaints, production and delivery status of closed sales contracts in coordination with the Sales Support Dept, Plant Operations and Plant Logistics.
- Promotes the Company and its products by representing the company in exhibits, meetings, conferences, conventions and other related activities in organization where the company has membership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any Engineering or Business course.
- Minimum of three (3) years work experience in the Sales of Construction related to Architects, Contractors and Developers.
- With technical knowledge in building and construction material specifications and project management.
- Must be hands-on and meticulous with details, honest and incorruptible, has strong work ethics, analytical, resourceful and creative, result-oriented, team player and self-starter
- Must possess well-rounded managerial expertise, people skills and excellent communications skills.
- Must have wide range of selling knowledge.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php28, Php30,000.00 per month
