Own the entire operational data chain, from SCADA/PLC/RTU to historians and dashboards, so plant and grid stakeholders receive accurate, secure, and timely telemetry and KPI reports that support availability, PR/CF analytics, compliance, and decision-making.

What you'll do (impact)

  • Keep data flowing:
    Sustain high availability for SCADA/historian; enforce tag governance, time sync, and automated data QA/QC.
  • Interface with the grid (NGCP):
    Assure IEC / DNP3 telemetry and AGC signal health; coordinate incident response with PM/IT and NGCP.
  • Publish KPIs that matter:
    Standardize methods (IEEE-762, PR, CF, NERC-GADS alignment) and deliver daily/weekly/monthly reports
    OTIF 100%
    with a clean data dictionary.
  • Harden integrations & cyber hygiene:
    Operate PI/SQL pipelines, RBAC/MFA, backups/DR (semiannual tests), and patching in step with IT.
  • Control changes:
    Run EMOC for tag/report/telemetry edits; keep version control and audit trails tight.
  • Fuel reliability work:
    Provide clean datasets and ad-hoc dashboards for PdM and RCAs; support Test & HV teams as needed.

You'll be great at this if you have:

  • 3–7 years
    in SCADA/OT/data systems within power/industrial environments.
  • Hands-on with
    OSIsoft PI/AVEVA
    , SQL, data modeling/tag governance, and dashboard/ETL tools.
  • Working knowledge of
    NGCP telemetry/AGC
    , latency/quality monitoring, and incident response.
  • KPI math fluency (availability, PR, CF) and on-time reporting discipline.
  • Solid OT/IT basics:
    RBAC, MFA, VPN/secure remote access, backups/DR, patching, NTP/time sync
    .
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate across PM, HSSE, IT/OT, Finance, HV/Test, and vendors.
  • Bonus: scripting for automation (SQL basics; Python nice-to-have).
  • Education:
    BS ECE/EE/IT/CS
    (PRC/ECE license preferred).

  • Historian/telemetry availability and data integrity.
  • On-time reporting (D/W/M),
    zero-defect KPI calculations, and maintained data dictionary.
  • Reduction in telemetry incidents and faster MTTR.
  • Clean EMOC records, versioning, and audit readiness.
