JOB SUMMARY

The RMC Quality Control Engineer plans, directs and coordinates all batch plant and on-site Concrete Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure compliance with applicable DMCI Homes Projects, and government regulations and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS Civil Engineering
  • With at least one year experience in the Construction industry
  • Willing to be assigned to the Batching Plant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements the Concrete QC Plan in its entirety and making appropriate and necessary changes to the plan as needed
  • Ensures daily site inspections are performed and directs all quality control personnel
  • Performs submittal review and approval, ensures testing is performed and provides QC certifications and documentation as required in the supply agreement
  • Maintains the DMCI Homes project documentation processes as related to supply agreement QC procedures
  • Disseminates Quality Control Plan, issues and objectives to all production personnel
  • Acts as the main point of contact for receiving and disseminating concrete supply agreement modifications
  • Optimizes all Concrete Design Mix in compliance to project concrete requirements and specifications
  • Recommends process improvements for more efficient quality control
  • Supervises the quality control personnel of daily operations
  • Implements plant regulations on safety work permit for critical jobs in the batching plant
  • Conduct safety audit, hazard, and improvement reports with the Safety officer
  • Supports production personnel to ensure quality services
  • Issues the Concrete Design Mix to production team as required by Project sites in a timely manner
  • Develops, leads and maintains a team quality control working environment. Establish and maintain good working relationships with PICs, QC Inspectors, OPCEN, Concrete Supervisors/Foreman, Suppliers and Subcontractor
