JOB PURPOSE

The Distribution Specialist takes part in supervising and managing the warehouse activities to ensure productivity.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises/monitors the warehouse activities particularly Receiving of Merch from Local & Foreign Suppliers, Receiving of Non-Merch, Receiving of Returns.
  • Plans & monitors non-office manpower scheduling.
  • Approves DTR & OT of contractuals.
  • Approves HRIS, DTR & OT of non-office regular & contractuals.
  • Prepares the DC Daily Report.
  • Prepares the DC-GR Retail non-office personnel man-hours report.
  • Monitors Receiving assignment Productivity.
  • Monitors correctness of GR Posting in the system.
  • Ensures correctness of all monitoring reports, for future reference.
  • Ensures on time receiving of Local, foreign Merchandise, Non-Merch & Returns.
  • Coordinates with other DC sections regarding any error encountered upon the process of receiving.
  • Collaborates with the other department such as buyer concerning the issues during receiving to minimize the error in process
  • Reviews the Goods Receiving Activities.
  • Ensures on time receiving / documentation of above-mentioned activities.
  • Creates an internal process improvement such as additional excel monitoring to give a more accurate delivery detail.
  • Collaborates with other departments on how to resolve the frequent issues on the process.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor Degree holder of Industrial Engineer or equivalent.
  • EXPERIENCE: open to fresh graduates; at least2-3 years of related working experience is preferred.

  • Can communicate effectively both verbal and written.
  • Experience with handling high volume distribution with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.
  • Experience supervising or managing employees in a dynamic environment where coordination with other managers/employees is required.
  • Experience in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of employees and their adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines is required.
  • Experience in a high-volume distribution center is preferable
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to motivate others.
  • Must have strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented and has a good command of urgency under extreme pressure.
  • Must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative and highly organized.
  • Act sensibly to meet deadlines and commitments to clients.
  • Must have the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of people.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
