Pricing Analyst

Job description

  • Responsible for determining the ideal target price for products of the business to analyze competitor pricing matched with market expectations.
  • Pricing Analysts use mathematics and statistics to understand pricing. They
  • typically have the following responsibilities:
  • Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and
  • competitors and report data to decision-makers
  • Identify marketing strategies to increase profits
  • Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends
  • Identify appropriate sales and clearance prices to increase customer traffic
  • Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine the cause for decrease or increase

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of BS in Mathematics or Statistics or any related course
  • With 2 years experience in the same industry
  • Strong knowledge about the industry including competitors and market trends
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Keen to details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good negotiations and problem-solving skills
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills
