Job Summary:

The Market Information Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting market intelligence in the animal feed industry. The role provides key insights on market potential, competitor activities, industry trends, and customer data to support strategic decision-making. This position also oversees marketing inventory management and contributes to trade marketing studies for livestock and pet food products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and consolidate market data on feed industry potential, growth opportunities, competitor products, distribution channels, and customer databases.
  • Monitor competitor activities, prices, and promotions; prepare and submit weekly market reports.
  • Oversee marketing inventory management to ensure efficient turnover and accurate record-keeping.
  • Summarize and analyze farmgate prices, production costs, and feed prices; compile key industry updates from relevant sources.
  • Prepare quarterly reports covering product SRP, share of market (SOM), competitor volumes, and supplier potential.
  • Support trade marketing studies for hogs, game fowl, and dog food, including mechanics development and expense tracking.
  • Document feed performance-related data and coordinate with the marketing services team for activities in Visayas and Mindanao.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the animal feed industry is required.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data collection, organization, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
