QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of 4 year-course, preferably in Business Management.
  • With at least 1 to 2 years' experience in food manufacturing and purchasing experience.
  • In depth knowledge on negotiating with suppliers in terms of contracts, pricing and availability of materials.
  • Knowledgeable in the Purchasing regulations and accounting works
  • Knowledgeable in MS applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Locates and negotiates with vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and Terms of sales.
  • Prepares purchase order claims and tabulations for conformance to company policy.
  • Works and coordinates with other department to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back ordered or missing products.
  • Maintains professional relationships with all suppliers and prepare reports for all purchasing departments and provide support to all Managers to plan and execute all purchasing processes and provide an effective interface with all departments.
  • Administers everyday activities of all purchasing staff and ensure compliance to Food Safety
  • Handles purchasing activities and design various cost effective methods according to demands
  • Supervises and evaluates all purchase orders and payment perform and assist to eliminate any discrepancy in same and prepare all contract terms and conditions.
