Job Summary:

The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive market share, brand visibility, and sales performance in key retail and distribution channels. This role acts as the bridge between marketing and sales, ensuring that brand strategies are effectively executed at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement trade marketing plans aligned with brand and sales objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, sales data, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with sales and brand teams to create tailored trade programs for key accounts.
  • Execution:
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions, displays, merchandising activities, and trade campaigns.
  • Ensure proper brand visibility and product placement in retail environments.
  • Support product launches with trade-focused materials and activation plans.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop channel-specific strategies.
  • Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and retail partners to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.
  • Train and support field sales teams on promotional activities and merchandising guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably can drive four wheel vehicles
  • With at least 1 year experience in OOH ADVERTISING / TRADE MARKETING
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills for dealing with LGU's and external partners
  • Knowledgeable in mapping and identifying strategic locations for OOH placements
  • Willing to travel frequently to branches and new locations
  • Pro active, resourceful and organized in managing field operations
  • A graduate of Marketing, Business or related field.
