What you'll be doing
- Manage the procurement of a wide range of goods and services required for the hotel's operations, including furniture, equipment, supplies, and more
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices, terms, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, as well as identify and evaluate new potential partners
- Assist with the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
- Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, budget management, and supply chain performance
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within a 5-star hospitality industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in various procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to think strategically to identify cost-saving opportunities
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
