Job Summary

The Market Researcher / Interviewer will support field data collection through on-ground interviews with target respondents (e.g., customers, store owners, veterinarians, end-users). This role is ideal for marketing undergraduates or fresh graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in market research, consumer insights, and data gathering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face interviews with respondents following approved questionnaires and research protocols.
  • Perform store checks, site visits, and on-ground observations as required by the project.
  • Ensure accurate and complete data collection, recording responses clearly and objectively.
  • Approach respondents professionally and maintain high-quality respondent engagement.
  • Coordinate with the research supervisor on daily progress, challenges, and field updates.
  • Submit completed forms, reports, or digital entries within assigned deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all data and follow research ethics and company guidelines.
  • Assist in pre-testing questionnaires and providing feedback to the project team.
  • Represent the company in the field in a professional and respectful manner.

Qualifications

  • Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, Communication, or related course (Undergraduate or Fresh Graduate).
  • Preferably with experience in surveys, interviews, or basic field research—but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable doing fieldwork, including traveling to assigned locations.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following instructions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a mobile device for communication and data entry (if applicable).

  • Knows how to handle respondents professionally and ethically.
