Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Market Research Analyst
to join our team. Working directly with our Australian recruitment client, the analyst will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on comprehensive market research projects. The ideal candidate will transform complex data into actionable insights to inform strategic business decisions, focusing on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Research & Data Collection
• Research Planning: Develop clear, structured research plans and methodologies to address specific business questions.
• Market Analysis Tools: Conduct research utilizing established frameworks and sources, including PESTLE analysis, IBIS World reports, and SIA (Staffing Industry Analysts) data.
• Trend Identification: Actively track and research Business & Industry Trends, specifically within the context of the Australian recruitment sector and related markets.
• Stakeholder Research: Execute thorough Customer Research and Competitor Research to understand market dynamics, client needs, and competitive positioning.
• Data Analysis & Strategic Insights
• Analysis: Analyze collected data to identify patterns and generate insights on Business & Industry Trends.
• Segmentation: Conduct Customer Segmentation Analysis to help target recruitment efforts and service offerings effectively.
• Strategic Evaluation: Perform SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) for the client's business or specific market segments.
• Reporting: Prepare accurate, comprehensive Data Analysis & Reporting, presenting findings in a clear and visually engaging manner for executive review.
• Workflow & Project Management
• Workflow Design: Assist in Building Workflow processes for repeatable research tasks and data management.
• Workflow Management & Maintenance: Take ownership of Managing and Workflow Maintenance, ensuring research processes are efficient, standardized, and up-to-date.
• Data Integrity: Perform regular Data Update to maintain the accuracy and currency of market intelligence databases.
• Project Documentation: Draft and maintain a Project Plan Draft for all research initiatives, outlining scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Market Research Analyst or similar role, preferably with exposure to the recruitment or Australian market.
• Proficiency in utilizing various research tools and databases (e.g., IBIS World, industry-specific reports).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, essential for liaising with the Australian client.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or specialized statistical software).
