MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises the activities of Documentation Assistants.
  • Checks completeness and acceptability of loan / lease documents submitted by the client / dealer vis-à-vis the facility and requirements and terms and conditions in the Credit Approval Memorandum (CAM)
  • Ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Effectively function as Deputy Compliance Officer by monitoring the complete submission of documentary and KYC information of clients.
  • Ensures proper safekeeping of Credit and Collateral Folders in vault and act as Vault Custodian.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews and check the following reports prepared by Documentation Assistants:
  • Documentary Deficiencies
  • Insurance
  • Pending Registration
  • Collateral Inventory
  • Submission of SBLAF Usage Report to Compliance Division quarterly.
  • Records and monitors the KYC/CDD documents for updating of accounts with Loan/ Lease Availments.
  • Review and monitor the KYC/CDD documents of Treasury clients.
  • Checks the Documentary Deficiency Checklist, Purchase Order and Authority to Deliver prepared by Documentation Assistants.
  • Assisting the Compliance officer in the conduct of the quarterly continuous monitoring plan (CMP) review and the regular control sampling testing (CST)
  • Checking of actual KYC and collateral documents versus details encoded in Ambit system
  • Checks completeness and acceptability of loan/lease documents and requirements submitted by client / dealer.
  • Supervise the custodianship/control of collateral borrowing documents, credit folder, original LTO CR/OR, original Titles & other related documents
  • Monitoring all the outgoing docs for CIAD and Third Party Liason Re: annotation, encumbrance, transfer of ownership, etc.
  • Assist in ensuring that inquiries/requests of the marketing, audit, compliance and other units will be entertained and addressed immediately.
  • Provide assistance to internal and external auditors/ examiners as required.
