Job Summary

The Head Engineer is a strategic leader who establishes the technical vision and guides the engineering team in delivering high-quality products or services that correspond with business objectives. Key responsibilities include developing engineering strategy, supervising project development and execution, encouraging innovation, managing engineering teams, ensuring best practices are followed, and collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to drive technical excellence and achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Design and Development:

○ Create detailed mechanical designs and layouts using CAD software.

○ Conduct testing to evaluate performance.

○ Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

2.    Project Management:

○ Develop and communicate the organization's engineering vision, strategy, and technological direction, ensuring it aligns with overall business goals.

○ Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, civil, and project engineers.

○ Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

3.    Installation and Maintenance:

○ Develop and communicate the organization's engineering vision, strategy, and technological direction, ensuring it aligns with overall business goals

○ Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

4.    Analysis and Optimization:

○ Perform simulations, stress tests, and thermal analysis to optimize designs.

○ Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced system performance.

5.    Compliance and Documentation:

○ Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.

○ Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and manuals.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

● Licensed Engineer with five (5) years of experience working in field.
