Job Overview

CPS Importing Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales operations. The Sales Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination between clients, the sales team, and operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to handling client inquiries and administrative tasks.

Job Description

The Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day sales activities, ensuring smooth client transactions, and maintaining accurate records of sales and operations. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers, assist with preparing quotations and contracts, and follow up on leads to help the sales team close deals. Additionally, you will work closely with logistics and operations to track shipments, update clients on order status, and ensure on-time delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in managing client accounts and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide product and service information, and process orders efficiently.
  • Support sales representatives with lead generation, client follow-ups, and scheduling meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, contracts, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Prepare and update sales reports, presentations, and proposals as needed.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support the sales team in developing strategies.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing contracts, quotations, and other client-facing documents.
  • Handle after-sales support by assisting customers with concerns, complaints, and service follow-ups.
  • Perform other tasks as required to support business growth and sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Sales Assistant, Customer Service Representative, or similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude.
