Job Description
  • Run Strategy Process - The Corporate Strategy Officer will support the team leaders in running the AEV, SBU, and CSU Strategy processes; introduce ideas and new approaches to setting AEV and SBU-level strategy and streamline the process over time, coordinate annual strategy exercise (in coordination with budgeting process) at assigned SBUs, facilitate ongoing strategy dialogue at AEV and SBU level.
  • Formulate Strategic Plans and Strategic Initiatives - The Corporate Strategy Officer will formulate strategic plans and initiatives by conducting research to spot changes/trends in markets and assess impact on AEV and SBUs and new opportunities, develop/analyze options and responses to changes in collaboration with SBUs and key stakeholders, and develop/analyze new opportunities considered attractive by board of directors.
  • Support Strategy Execution - The Corporate Senior Officer will assist the senior team leaders to facilitate SBUs and CSUs execution of strategy, put in place monitoring measures to drive performance and progress towards strategic goals, and create and manage business and organizational dashboards to track impact and effectiveness of strategy.
  • Special Projects - Handle specific projects related to Portfolio or SBU Strategy as needed, such a review of investments made, competitive benchmarking, and other ad hoc analysis requested by Management or the Board.
  • ​​​​​​​Financial Modeling - The Corporate Strategy Officer will create new and run existing financial models related to financial analysis, capital allocation, scenario planning, among others.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A graduate of Business, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or the equivalent
  • Must have experience in developing and evaluating business plans
  • With at least three (3) years of work experience in a strategy, corporate planning, or business development role
  • Relevant work experience in consulting, investment banking, investing, or equity research preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant and/or Chartered Financial Analyst is an advantage
