Overview:

The Corporate Strategy Manager is responsible for driving the development and execution of the company's long-term strategic initiatives. This role plays a critical part in shaping the company's direction, particularly in the fast-evolving tech industry. The manager works cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to design and implement strategies that align with the company's growth objectives while reinforcing its core business capabilities.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of the organization's strengths, weaknesses, and operational effectiveness, as well as identifying opportunities and potential risks. The role involves synthesizing insights from internal and market data to formulate actionable, forward-looking plans that support sustainable competitive advantage.

To be effective, the Corporate Strategy Manager must demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and functions.

Basic Qualifications:

● Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management, Industrial Management, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or any related field.

● Work Experience:

○ Minimum of 5 years working in a corporate strategy position within a fast paced and dynamic business environment.

○ An equivalent of the same working experience is also acceptable for the position

● Communication Skills:

Demonstrates strong communication abilities, with the capacity to clearly convey information, insights, and strategic directives across various levels of the organization.

Effective communication is critical to ensuring alignment, driving execution, and enabling the successful implementation of business strategies.

● Analytical Skills:

○ Has an ability to translate raw information into actionable initiatives

○ Can perform standard reviews such as, but not limited to: performance, competitive, and market analyses.

○ Is results-driven with exceptional problem-solving skills

● Interpersonal Skills:

○ Demonstrates strong attention to detail

○ Is high-energy, has a positive attitude, a proactive nature and a can-do attitude

○ Has the capacity to comfortably work in a group

NON NEGOTIABLE:

  • Candidates with experience in digital product, information technology or software development industries
  • Strategy/Corporate Strategy experience

Location: Mandaluyong City

Set-up: Hybrid Setup: Onsite every Tuesday and Thursday, with occasional onsite work on Fridays as needed (around once or twice a month)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
