Job Summary:

The Dine-in Staff Intern will assist in providing excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. This internship aims to give students hands-on experience in restaurant operations, customer interaction, and hospitality service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist in taking customer orders and coordinating with the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations.
  • Ensure proper table set-up and preparation for dine-in customers.
  • Practice proper customer service etiquette and address guest concerns politely.
  • Support the dine-in team in day-to-day operations as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Hospitality Management, HRM, Tourism, or related course.
  • With pleasing personality and good communication skills.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to fast-paced restaurant operations.
  • Can work well with a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long hours.
  • Flexible, punctual, and has a positive service-oriented attitude.

Job Type: OJT (On the job training)

Contract length: 6 months
