Responsibilities


• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.


• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.


• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using defect management tools.


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.


• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.


• Work with automation testing tools to create and execute automated test scripts (if applicable).


• Ensure that test results and defects are properly recorded, analyzed, and communicated.


• Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments.

Qualifications


• 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.


• Knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.


• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, or similar).


• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.


• Basic knowledge of SQL to validate test data.


• Experience in working with Agile methodologies.


• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
